At present all discussions on the PC game is DirectX 10 graphics. New materials and new DX10 games everyone hum of a new era in PC gaming. But it's all a little premature celebration?
Yes and no!
As with any new technology there is a period of time before everything reaches, before the new technology is truly integrated into the old, in that case, gaming systems. The big question on everyone's mind (especially players) How much time to wait before that provides DirectX 10 graphics?
In other words, how long is the time elapsed before Performance (what you see in the games) is equated with DX10 graphics technology finally deliver?
For the ordinary consumer who is not a coach or a player has gone all the fuss about X10 Graphics can be really confusing to say the least. Demystifying the simplest terminology can be a challenge.
First, you must understand DirectX is a Microsoft technology that lets Windows perform better in sound and graphics for playing games or watching videos on your computer. In the past we had different versions of DirectX ... DirectX 8, DirectX 9, and the introduction of Windows Vista will have DirectX 10.
DX10 Graphics gives better performance and graphic quality, with better, higher resolution images, with more shading and detail. This simply means better image quality and overall performance, a real step forward for realistic games.
At the heart is the DirectX API (Application Programming Interfaces) that can simplify as a bridge or a form of hardware and software to "talk" to each other. These give multimedia applications such as (3-D) graphics acceleration, mixing, audio output and other functions.
We see now more powerful DirectX 10 GPU part of high-level graphics and Nvidia with their 8800 series, including the GeForce NVIDIA GeForce 8800 and GeForce 8800 GTS. The GPU (Graphics Processing Units) will give a better game with better image quality and performance. HD DVD and Blu-ray video playback is still possible.

The remains still - What DirectX 10 graphics worthy of all hoopala or noise?
